INCAT® Offers No-Cost Training to Spur Software Upgrades

INCAT® ( http://www.incat.com ) announced a no-cost training initiative, designed to make software upgrades easier to implement and more affordable for customers. The training is a component of "Operation UpgradeT," a nationwide program launching at the company's North American headquarters in Novi, Michigan, on August 3, designed to promote Autodesk® software upgrades, technical support and training.

INCAT's Operation Upgrade is timed to coincide with the countdown to the retirement of Autodesk's AutoCAD 2000i CAD product. Users of AutoCAD 2000i, and other older products, will soon be faced with the expense and challenge of upgrading.

"The cost and inconvenience of training are the top reasons that organizations cite in avoiding software upgrades," said Dan Miles, INCAT Autodesk Applications Group Leader. "We're addressing those reasons directly, by offering the training at no cost and by making the training available via the Web."

The Web-based training-in AutoCADT 2005-is available to users at their desktop in four one-hour sessions. While INCAT is offering the training to customers who upgrade from AutoCAD 2000i or older products at no cost, the value of the course is $550.
