SplutterFish and McNeel Enter Licensing Agreement to Integrate Brazil r/s Into Rhino

At the Siggraph 2004 convention, SplutterFish, LLC, a high-end 3D rendering software solutions provider, announced it has entered into a strategic licensing agreement with Robert McNeel and Associates, developers and publishers of software tools for product and industrial designers to integrate SplutterFish's Brazil Rendering SystemT (Brazil r/s) 2.0 rendering engine into McNeel's Rhinoceros® (Rhino) design and modeling solution. This agreement will leverage the expertise of two software leaders to extend the value of the powerful rendering solution to customers in design areas including industrial, marine, jewelry design, graphics, multimedia and CAD/CAM, broadening its operating system and platform reach.

The Brazil Rendering System is designed by and for CG professionals as a powerful, flexible and affordable high-end rendering solution for film, broadcast, architecture and other cross-visualization applications. Built upon a modern and extensible rendering architecture, Brazil r/s is designed for use in heavy production environments to produce the highest levels of photo-realism, stylized animation, and cartoon style NPR renderings.

Pricing and availability for Brazil r/s's integration into Rhino will be announced at a later date.
