Tier-One Automotive Supplier Selects NexPrise to Increase Efficiency

NexPrise, Inc. ( http://www.nexprise.com ) announced that TRAM, Inc., a Japanese-based automotive supplier, has selected the NexPrise Cost Estimation application. The NexPrise Cost Estimation Solution is designed to help automotive suppliers respond to OEM requests for quote.

TRAM designs, develops, and manufactures automotive switches, shift levers, and related electronic assemblies-products that link people to automobiles. TRAM is researching and developing new technologies involving electronics, simulations, materials, and ergonomics in pursuit of safety and control systems for the next generation. A customized application that conforms to the supplier's current business rules, Web forms and workflow, the Web-based NexPrise Cost Estimation and Quote Manager will allow TRAM to automate and streamline its manual methods of processing costs and providing customer quotes.

TRAM expects to reap several benefits-for itself and for its customers-including:
