Delcam Opens Branch Office in Middle East
CADCAM developer Delcam is aiming to attract increased business from the growing Middle East market with the opening of a new branch office. Based in Dubai's Internet City, the leading high technology center for the region, Delcam Middle East will support the company's existing resellers in Pakistan, Iran, Syria Jordan and Lebanon, as well as making direct sales where no local representation has been established.
Vineet Seth, currently General Manager at Delcam India, has been promoted to Country Manager for India and the Middle East. He will be supported in the new office by a staff of experienced sales and support engineers.
"Delcam will be one of the first CADCAM suppliers to open a direct office in the Middle East," claimed Business Development Manager Sandy Moffat. "As a result, we will be much better placed than our competitors to meet the demands of the manufacturers that are moving into the region. There is a growing need for software for the newer high technology industries, such as aircraft maintenance, and the oil industry and its downstream industries like plastics processing. In addition, our ArtCAM software can help in more traditional manufacturing areas like jewellery production and woodworking."
