Axiom Releases New Version of MicroStation V8 Quality Assurance Tool, SpecChecker
Axiom announced the release of a new V8 version of their quality assurance tool, SpecChecker for V8. Also, Axiom announces the V8 release of RuleManager for V8.
SpecChecker for V8 is Axiom's software solution for ensuring CAD standards are adhered to, by correcting CAD standards violations in one or hundreds of design files automatically. RuleManager for V8 is used to create "rule files", which put the CAD standards in the format used by SpecChecker. RuleManager for V8 can automatically extract rules from an existing on-standard design file.
The new version of SpecChecker and the newly-released RuleManager boast a revised "Rule Wizard," which simplifies the creation of rules files. The Rule Wizard's dialog box contains fields for each part of every rule, allowing users to modify or amend rule files from a user-friendly interface. Also, users now can edit rules using the Rule Wizard, making rule management easier than ever. For legacy V7 users, RuleManager for V8 includes the most popular V7 features adapted for V8.
