NCR Selects MatrixOne to Streamline Worldwide Product Development Operations
MatrixOne, Inc. announced that NCR Corporation is standardizing on MatrixOne's product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions. NCR selected MatrixOne in order to leverage the success they have already established with MatrixOne products since 1996.
Representing another key win for MatrixOne in the global electronics market, NCR will leverage MatrixOne's PLM environment to support the company's extensive product management, global design, and manufacturing partnerships. This worldwide value chain is composed of more than 2,000 internal and external users responsible for designing and manufacturing NCR's technology solutions, such as leading-edge automated teller machines, point-of-sale systems and self-service kiosks.
MatrixOne's PLM environment will provide a secure, collaborative product development environment across NCR's global operations that will allow them to increase efficiencies in bringing new products to market and to help ensure they are driving the right products into its globally dispersed new product development processes. The MatrixOne PLM backbone will provide a single repository that drives the global enterprise business process, helping NCR to compress the time required throughout the continuum between customer needs, product requirements, product architecture and solution creation.
