HAWE Selects Cyco AutoManager Bill of Materials Module to Streamline Enterprise-Wide Data Management
Cyco Software announced that HAWE Systems Europe B.V., an international manufacturer of greenhouse equipment, has selected Cyco AutoManager® Meridian and the Cyco AutoManager Bill of Materials (BOM) Module to streamline all of its engineering and office documentation throughout its entire organization. The company expects to achieve a substantial return on investment-including a 15% reduction in the cost of procuring production parts-a significant cost savings that will boost overall profits.
"We are very pleased with the initial results of Cyco AutoManager Meridian and the Cyco AutoManager BOM Module," says Jeroen Renes, Automation IT Coordinator with HAWE. "In the future, we will manage not only our product lifecycle data in the system, but related office documents as well. With the system's powerful document control, bill of materials management and data workflow, no single document in this company will ever be lost again."
Based in The Netherlands, HAWE has chosen to implement Cyco AutoManager Meridian and the Cyco AutoManager BOM Module to manage all of the engineering and design information that is involved in the production of greenhouse machinery and equipment such as AutoCAD designs and complex Autodesk Inventor assemblies. The Cyco AutoManager software is also used to make all product data available in the company's ISAH enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
HAWE is expecting further significant returns on investment after completion of the software implementation. Cyco Software's enterprise-wide data management system will reduce errors in the collaborative design process, eliminate time spent searching for drawings and provide different departments secure access to accurate bill of materials data, including engineering, production, service & repair, and sales.
HAWE anticipates the following expected return on investment from implementing the Cyco AutoManager solution suite:
• Reduce the purchase cost of production parts by 15% due to the elimination of bill of materials errors.
• Timesavings of 10% in the Service & Repair department due to the ability to find as-built product documentation faster.
• Elimination of the circulation of erroneous documents by 75% due to standardized workflow of office documents (such as invoices and customer memos).
