Worley Pty. Limited Signs Global Alliance Agreement with Intergraph Process, Power & Marine

Worley Pty. Limited of Australia has signed a multi-year Global Alliance Agreement with the Process, Power & Marine ( http://ppm.intergraph.com/ ) division of Intergraph Corporation for implementation of information management, procurement and project engineering software. The agreement covers the SmartPlant® suite of engineering applications including SmartPlant Foundation workflow and information management software, MARIAN® materials and procurement management system, INtools® lifecycle instrumentation engineering package and PDST (Plant Design System). Under terms of the agreement, Worley offices throughout the world have access to software licenses for these applications. The agreement enables Worley to help increase productivity through core engineering tool standardization, streamlined work processes and a consistent training methodology.

Robert Edwardes, PhD., director, Worley, said, "Intergraph will play a key role in support of Worley's Capability Platform Project. CPP is a corporate investment in improved systems, people training and development and a supporting culture change. The primary objective is to significantly improve the efficiency and predictability of project outcomes. With Intergraph's support, we believe that the CPP will enable Worley to become even more competitive. SmartPlant Foundation is a sophisticated engineering information and document management system. We have demonstrated it to prospective clients, who have been favorably impressed with its capabilities. And now that Worley has implemented MARIAN at a few sites, we are beginning to truly understand how it will support significantly improved project delivery."
