Avatech Announces New Vice President of Marketing
Avatech Solutions, Inc . announced that Melody Craigmyle has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing. Melody has served Avatech since 1998, most recently in a Director of Corporate Communications role. Her strategic guidance has enabled the company to smoothly navigate complicated initiatives such as integrating a number of separate companies through mergers and acquisitions, taking the company from a private to a public entity and rebranding. She will report to the President & COO, Scott Harris.
Melody's responsibilities include managing Avatech's marketing, web presence, public relations, investor relations and internal communications for 16 locations, as well as strategic relationships with key partners Autodesk and Dassault. In her new role as Vice President of Marketing, Melody will work on strengthening the company's brand through the development of integrated communications plans and programs. Internal communications and improvements in communicating with employees, as well as investor relations will continue to be a top priority for her. As Avatech continues an aggressive growth strategy, Melody and her team will play a key role in the area of mergers & acquisitions - ensuring a smooth transition of those businesses to the Avatech brand and marketing penetration in new markets.
