APLAC Releases RF-IC Design Link
Connecting APLAC RF simulation and analysis power with Cadence and Mentor Graphics IC design tools, APLAC Solutions is now unveiling the RF-IC Design Link to enhance RF-IC design flow.
APLAC's RF-IC Design Flow system includes the APLAC RF Design Tool and APLAC RF-IC Design Link, uniting the powerful RF-IC and analog simulator, a broad range of analysis and optimization functions, and an interface with Cadence and Mentor Graphics IC design tools.
Fast RF-IC simulation algorithms can be used with these design frames by inserting Cadence and Mentor Graphics schematics into APLAC Editor using the device-under-test (DUT) approach.
APLAC RF-IC Design Link transfers design data flexibly between Cadence or Mentor Graphics flows and the APLAC Editor, producing the most complete, accurate and integrated set of analog & RF simulation methods available. Once initialized, the interface process is completely transparent to the user. With this new cost-efficient system, one can analyze RF-ICs including thousands of transistors in minutes.
