Realization's Project Flow Software Key Element of Eter-Wind's Ambitious Growth Plans
Realization Technologies announced that Eter-Wind International Limited, a Hong Kong based headwear manufacturer with a wholly-owed production plant in China, will implement its Project Flow software under the guidance of Goldratt Consulting.
Goldratt Consulting's Viable Vision process puts Eter-Wind on an aggressive, well-defined and managed four-year growth path delivering all the necessary elements of strategy, logistics, engineering, marketing and sales.
Realization's software will be used to accelerate new product development (fashions can change overnight) and manage production orders (every order is a project in this business).
"We are proud to be chosen by Dr. Goldratt and Eter-Wind's executive team, and excited about this assignment," says Manoj Agarwal, managing director of Thru-Put Management Systems, exclusive partner of Realization Technologies in India, who will lead the Project Flow software implementation.
All suppliers in the fashion business face long product development cycles but very short product life cycles. It can take 12 to 18 months to develop new products that might last in the market only for a three to four month season.
Reduction in product development cycles can be a source of immense strategic advantage in such industries. Hamilton Beach/ Proctor-Silex and Skye Group already use Realization's solution to shorten their product development cycles.
