LightWork Design Releases New LightWorks HDRI Starter Collection

LightWork Design announced the release of the LightWorks HDRI Starter Collection, a set of High Dynamic Range Image files for use with the LightWorks rendering engine.

The new LightWorks HDRI Starter Collection compliments the HDRI functionality in LightWorks and has been created so that customers and their users can see the difference that HDRIs can make to the accuracy and photorealism of their images. LightWorks supports HDRIs for the easy creation of subtle and real-world lighting set-ups and image-based lighting, which lets users create more accurate images faster. It allows HDRIs to be used as light sources, as an alternative to complicated lighting set-ups, and allows lighting to be perfectly matched to background images and environments.

LightWork Design has teamed up with three of the world's best HDRI producers - HDRImaps.com, realtexture.com and Sachform Technology - to provide its customers and the many users of LightWorks-based rendering applications with this stunning new collection of HDRI files. Licensees of LightWorks can redistribute the LightWorks HDRI Starter Collection free of charge to their end-users - another demonstration of how LightWork Design supplies its customers with true competitive advantage.

Clive Davies, Partner Program Manager for LightWorks commented, "The HDRIs we are offering are incredibly easy to use within LightWorks and will provide users with some phenomenal results. We are really pleased to be able to offer this technology to our customers and their users and to be teaming up with three of the best known names in high dynamic range imagery."

Mark Wisoniowski at HDRImaps.com said, "The ability to use such a complex and realistic lighting set-up-with such simplicity-will have a huge impact on your workflow and the quality of your rendered results."

This was echoed by Daniel Renner from realtexture.com, "There is no other way to capture reality more precisely than with the method of HDRI."

"Used on its own, or in combination with other state of the art technology, HDRI produces a phenomenal breakthrough in graphical quality and accuracy" added Jan Häusle from Sachform Technology.

The LightWorks HDRI Starter Collection can be found on the LightWorks-User website at http://www.lightworks-user.com/hdri_starter_collection.htm
