NavisWorks Ltd. Announced the Release of NavisWorks3 Version 3.6

With this new version NavisWorks delivers an effective solution for both 3D CAD and non-CAD users who wish to conveniently share and review design data. NavisWorks are long standing Autodesk Developer Network members and their products employ ObjectDBX technology to offer the highest degree of compatibility possible with .DWG files, without any need for the original authoring design software. Together with enhanced support for MicroStation V8 and a range of popular 3D file formats this makes NavisWorks3 version 3.6 the best way of uniting competing design data and distributing the full project for review.

Announcing the release of version 3.6 Peter Thompson, Managing Director of NavisWorks Ltd. said, "Our close relationship with Autodesk allows NavisWorks to offer users of Autodesk products an excellent solution to navigate even their largest 3D project without any loss of file fidelity. Equipped with NavisWorks, designers can review a single data rich project supermodel created by uniting the geometry, object information and materials of the most popular native design formats and distributing it to enhance understanding, reduce waste and increase productivity. NavisWorks enhances project collaboration by liberating design data from the authoring format and allowing everybody to use it without the design application, specialist hardware or design software skills."
