MatrixOne and Technia AB to Provide Leading Telecom Supplier with a System for Managing Global R&D Project Lifecycle
MatrixOne, Inc. announced that MatrixOne and their Sweden-based partner, Technia AB, have signed a major software and service agreement with leading telecom supplier Ericsson to deploy MatrixOne's PLM software as its global platform for managing development projects. This investment in MatrixOne solutions represents a major expansion on an earlier deployment at Ericsson. MatrixOne and Technia will work together on the global deployment and implementation of the new MatrixOne PLM system within Ericsson's R&D units.
In order to track project changes and status in a global development organization, and improve the projects' quality and time to market, Ericsson needed a common integrated project support system. MatrixOne will provide Ericsson's R&D units with collaborative tools for uniform management of global product development projects including requirements management, product change management, overall project management, testing, functional anatomy management, and report and document management.
