Tecnomatix Joins Top Tier of Redesigned UGS Partner Program
Tecnomatix Technologies Ltd. joins a select group of industry powerhouses in the recently redesigned UGS Partner Program's top tier as a Strategic Partner. UGS established its global partner program to provide clients with the industry's most complete solutions for PLM. The Strategic Partner designation includes those companies described by UGS as having "a broad and long-lasting relationship with UGS that crosses many organizations and geographies."
Tecnomatix first announced a joint product development and marketing alliance two years ago with UGS (then part of EDS) in a move described at the time by the industry analyst firm, CIMdata, as "a major event within the digital manufacturing application segment of the PLM market." CIMdata's Ed Miller added that the alliance would have "a significant impact on manufacturing companies and PLM suppliers alike."
According to Chris Kelley, vice president, UGS Partner Program, "One of the driving forces behind this newly energized program is to address the needs of our valued business partners throughout the world. In addition to providing our partners with increased access to our state-of-the-art PLM technologies, the UGS Partner Program creates a greatly simplified path to expand our partner relationships into new areas while enabling increased visibility into UGS' sales and marketing campaigns.
