Graphics Systems Corporation Signs Agreement to Distribute eDrawingsT for MultiCAD Software
Graphics Systems Corporation (GXSC) will now offer eDrawings for MultiCAD in addition to eDrawing for SolidWorks. Graphics Systems recently signed an agreement with Geometric Software Solutions, a SolidWorks Solution Partner, to sell their viewing, rendering, and collaboration software. Geometric will supply GXSC with eDrawings for AutoCAD®, Pro/ENGINEER® and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire® to resell throughout Wisconsin and Illinois. eDrawings for MultiCAD is marketed in two packages, a free viewer which also features a basic publisher, and eDrawings professional which has advanced visualization and collaboration features. The free viewer provides the users with the ability to publish designs which can be emailed across to recipients.
Everyone involved in product development can publish and email highly compact, self-extracting eDrawings to multiple reviewers with eDrawings Professional. With the Professional version of the product, users can:
• Share product designs with review-enabled eDrawings and collaborate with their extended team
• Receive feedback on product design data from an unlimited number of recipients
• Manage, track, and merge comments from different team members
• Provide anyone with access to design data with self-extracting eDrawings
• Examine internal details of parts and assemblies with dynamic cross sectioning
• Measure the geometry in part, assembly, and drawing files when dimensions are absent
• Disable the measurement feature to protect sensitive design data
