Free Trial Licenses Of TraceParts 3D Library For CATIA V5 To Be Offered During ECF 2004 Technifair in Paris
TraceParts S.A. will be offering 30-day evaluation licenses of its parts library integrated to CATIA V5 at the ECF 2004 Conference and TechniFair (booth #49), taking place October 12-14, 2004, at Disneyland Paris, France.
TraceParts was the first Parts Library to join the DASSAULT SYSTEMES' Software Community Program (SCP) as a Partner in October 2001. Through this development partnership TraceParts is still the only CAA V5 Partner to complement native parts catalogs by delivering to CATIA V5 users more than 25 million parts directly accessible from DS 3d PLM solutions. TraceParts' commitment to CATIA customers and business partners is also being reinforced through this 4th consecutive participation to the ECF event.
TraceParts leverages the V5 architecture to develop an extensive library of international standard CATIA-native 3D parts. Customers from all industries, and especially Industrial Machinery, Tooling, Automotive and Aerospace will benefit from all the most commonly used components in mechanical design from the largest names of the mechanical industry: ASCO/JOUCOMATIC, BOUTET, CHAMBRELAN, CSR, GENUSTECH, HERVIEU, HP SYSTEMS, INA, LEGRIS, NORELEM, NSK, PARVEX, PAULSTRA, QUIRI, RABOURDIN, SIAM-RINGSPANN, SNR, SUMER, SUPRATEC, TELEMECANIQUE, ...
TraceParts completely eliminates the process of finding and modeling international standard and manufacturers' components. The time saved in this way allows the designer to spend more time on the more critical stages of the design process.
TraceParts is much more than a simple CAD library
Contents : More than 25 million components straight from the leading parts manufacturers in the world and international standards. The content includes such components as: fasteners, shaft ends, keys, pins, gears, bearings, cylinders, flanges, reducers, elbows, electric motors and structural sections, and also included are detailed technical documents regarding the individual products. The content of TraceParts is relevant to all mechanical designers in the tooling, machinery, automotive and aerospace industries.
Integration : TraceParts is run directly from within CATIA V5 and the selected components are automatically inserted into the current session, with all their Bill Of Material attributes attached as .CATPart properties (part name, reference, manufacturer, standard, mass, .). When applicable, V5 native features such as threading parameters, publications and materials are also automatically provided.
Power : Several search engines are included in TraceParts as well as a 2D and 3D viewers, these features mean that time is saved when selecting components as the right component is found from the first time.
Customization : TraceParts database can be linked to an external source of data in order to associate customized ERP/PDM information (internal references, prices, status, naming, .) to the standard attributes directly coming from manufacturers' catalogs.
Updates : Downloads of product updates and new parts catalogs are available through an exclusive maintenance contract. Maintenance customers can directly influence the product development and the modeling of new catalogs.
Web versions of TraceParts can be customized to match specific contents requirements such as US aerospace and automotive parts.
Each visitor of TraceParts booth (#49 in the Technifair SCP pavillion) will receive a free 30-day trial CD.
