Agile On Demand PLM Provides Reduced IT Complexity, Low Cost of Entry and Low Total Cost of Ownership
Agile Software Corporation announced Agile On DemandT PLM to offer customers more flexible deployment choices for Agile Advantage, Agile's PLM solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Agile Advantage On Demand PLM is offered through user subscriptions and capacity can be adjusted depending on the on-going needs of the customer. The only IT infrastructure required is a desktop browser and access to the Internet.
"Agile has a long history of serving companies in the small and midsize ranges. Agile recognizes that IT resources are scarce and different licensing options are needed for these companies. They continue to meet the needs of these smaller organizations by offering their PLM solutions with On Demand PLM licensing." said Peter Bilello, senior consultant, CIMdata. "Agile's On Demand PLM licensing will allow companies to invest in the Agile PLM solution with minimal upfront costs and have a high degree of confidence that their solution will scale with them as their business needs change."
In addition to the Agile On Demand PLM solution, Agile offers the most flexible licensing models in the industry with different options to deploy Agile Advantage in the method that most fits their business needs. Customers can optionally set up Agile Advantage within their IT infrastructure via traditional perpetual licensing or through term licensing, which enables customers to purchase usage of the product over a three-year period.
