ESPRIT 2005 named "Certified Application" for Autodesk Inventor 9

DP Technology announced that the latest version of ESPRIT, ESPRIT 2005, has achieved a high level of certification for Autodesk Inventor 9. As an "Autodesk Inventor Certified Application", ESPRIT has met standards for quality and the highest level of interoperability with Autodesk Inventor 9. Software, such as ESPRIT that bears the Autodesk Inventor Certified logo has demonstrated the greatest level of compatibility with Autodesk Inventor®. Products developed in the Autodesk Inventor Certified Application program adhere to Autodesk guidelines, so you get the best combination of products for your business.

The ESPRIT CAM system now accepts Autodesk Inventor 9 part, and 3D mechanical design system assembly files with a simple push button transfer from within the Autodesk Inventor system. The feature is offered as an Add-in solution to all Autodesk Inventor end users. This add-in is available at no additional cost to any Autodesk Inventor user from the ESPRIT Add-in Store online at http://www.dptechnology.com . The add-in adds two commands to both the Autodesk Inventor and ESPRIT menus to open or merge Autodesk Inventor files directly into ESPRIT. With either option, the add-in automatically launches ESPRIT and transfers the active assembly or part files into ESPRIT ready for machining. Furthermore, because ESPRIT add-ins are available concurrently with the latest CAD releases, users will be able to take immediate advantage of this new CAD functionality with the assurance that they will have the ability to directly machine the resulting native part models inside ESPRIT.

ESPRIT is a high-performance computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system for a full range of machine tool applications. ESPRIT delivers full-spectrum programming for 2-5 axis milling, 2-22 axis turning, 2-5 axis wire EDM, multitasking mill-turn machining, and B-axis machine tools.
