Informative Graphics® Extends Visual RightsT To SolidWorks 2005 And Inventor v9
Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) announced the release of its ModelPress v4.3 software. The new version is available for immediate download on the ModelPress web site at http://www.modelpress.com .
"ModelPress is a lot of 3D visualization software for free corporate use, and people are downloading thousands of copies per week," said Gary Heath, CEO and President of IGC. "It is the best way to share design content with suppliers without transferring large native CAD formats, or requiring the same CAD software. With our Visual RightsT technology, designers can let others view and interact with their work, while keeping complete control of what can actually be done with the design data," he added.
ModelPress Publisher processes a variety of popular 3D CAD file formats, creating system-neutral, "content sealed" 3DF encrypted files that are extremely small (in file size), but highly accurate representations of the model design. ModelPress Reader will open 3DF files with persistent Visual RightsT settings that permit 3D visualization and analysis. Full assemblies can be viewed, cross sectioned, measured, and exploded interactively. Users can identify or search for specific parts, as well as publish models as Web pages.
The latest ModelPress Publisher version adds support for Solidworks 2005 and Inventor 9. The ModelPress Reader opens 3DF files, in addition to native VRML, OpenHSF, STL and IronCAD formats.
