Engineous Software Launches iSIGHT 9.0 at 2004 International User's Conference

Engineous Software announced today the launch of iSIGHT version 9.0 at their 2004 International User's conference in Atlanta, Georgia. The latest release infuses key technologies that were obtained with the acquisition of Synaps in January 2004. iSIGHT 9.0 also includes a number of customer-requested features as well as improved interaction with Engineous' infrastructure product FIPER.

iSIGHT 9.0 offers one of the largest leaps in technology ever provided in a single iSIGHT release. Major features include significant ease of use enhancements drawn from the Synaps products (Pointer guided optimization, Fast Parser, simulation-plots, stress ratio optimizer, automatic report generation, and exporting to ExcelT). The release also includes a number of advanced technology features such as selectable terms for response surface models, neural net approximations with radial basis functions, and Dynamic Taguchi robust design.

"Engineous is making great strides towards delivering complementary components for our existing simulation and design frameworks. The frameworks deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers that streamline the sharing, access, and execution of their engineering processes. By mid-2005, we will deliver four major product releases that move us far ahead of the rest of the process integration and simulation market," said JP Evans, Director of Marketing, Engineous Software.

The new iSIGHT features will be demonstrated at the company's conference in Atlanta this week. This year's conference includes representatives from Airbus, Alstom, Boeing, Caterpillar, Daimler Chrysler, Ford, General Electric, General Motors, Georgia Tech, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, Mitsubishi, NASA, Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, Toyota Motor Corporation and more.

The conference features over 30 presentations with keynote addresses from Mary Fortier, Engineering Group Manager, GM; Atsushi Matsui, Deputy Chief Engineer, MHI/Nagoya Propulsion & Guidance Systems Works; and Pierre Henri Cross, Assistant Director, CERFACS.
