INCAT International Launches INCAT Products Inc.

INCAT announced the launch of a new subsidiary, INCAT Products Inc. (IPI), to further expand the development and distribution of its proprietary software products. IPI will focus on enhancing the efficiency of the product development process and providing the interoperability between different PLM and ERP systems.

"Consolidation of our development efforts in this new subsidiary is a very important step for our company," said INCAT CEO Ulrich Herter. "INCAT's product development strategy is designed to complement the existing PLM products that we represent and our world-renown PLM consulting systems integration activities. We will be investing in the development of three product categories-data quality, enterprise connectivity and supply chain integration. INCAT's unique combination of domain knowledge and comprehensive deployment capabilities ideally positions our organization to capitalize upon this important growth opportunity."

IPI offerings include the iproductsT line, highlighted by icheck5T. As part of their product lifecycle and quality process, icheck5 helps CATIA® V5 users eliminate productivity loss because of poor design quality and lack of compliance with corporate standards. IPI plans to release icheck for the Autodesk InventorT software as well. In addition, a number of connectors for UGS Teamcenter and other Autodesk products are planned for release later this year.

Tanuj Bansal, Managing Director of IPI, leads the new organization. Bansal has extensive experience in software development, enterprise consulting and marketing, working with industry leading organizations such as Autodesk and PTC.

IPI will utilize its worldwide organization, including its United States and UK locations, to research, develop and market its products. In addition to software development, IPI will engage in researching market needs for technologies to improve quality, efficiency and productivity in the product development process.
