Bentley to Preview Its Upgrade Program for Users Facing Autodesk's Retirement of AutoCAD 2000i
Bentley Systems, Incorporated, announced that it will preview in upcoming seminars its upgrade program for AutoCAD 2000i and AutoCAD LT 2000i users facing Autodesk's retirement of these products. Autodesk states on its Web site: "After January 15, 2005, Autodesk will no longer sell upgrades or crossgrades from any AutoCAD 2000i-based products or Autodesk Inventor Series 6. Additionally, Autodesk will no longer provide technical support, apart from existing maintenance patches that are downloadable from http://www.autodesk.com ."
Included in Bentley's half-day preview seminars will be presentations and demonstrations of MicroStation PowerDraft and MicroStation products - offered at special program pricing - as well as special program services. The first seminar in the series takes place December 1, 2004, in Tampa, Fla., and the second will be held December 8, 2004, in Tulsa, Okla.
Complete details of Bentley's special program will be announced in the coming weeks. To sign up in advance for either preview seminar, visit http://www.bentley.com/AutoCADusers .
