Logtronics and Eurostep Commercial Solutions Announce Partnership

Logtronics, a South African company jointly owned by Grintek (South Africa) and Saab (Sweden), and Eurostep have entered into a partnership to provide services and solutions in the area of exchanging and sharing product life cycle data for the defense industry, as well as other industries dealing with complex product life cycle information. The agreement is focused on the African market but is also applicable globally.

"This partnership has great potential," says Mr. Gordon Ishammar, Sales Director for Eurostep Commercial Solutions.

"Logtronics has impressive knowledge in the domains that our software, Share-A-spaceT, targets and together we will offer state of the art solutions. South Africa is increasing its presence in global markets and there is significant interest from international companies to do business in South Africa. Eurostep Commercial Solutions is a subsidiary of Eurostep Group. Eurostep Group, ( http://www.eurostep.com/ ), delivers software and consulting services for product life-cycle management with a particular focus on the exchange and sharing of data within and between enterprises. Services range from pre-studies to the implementation of customized systems. Logtronics is a supplier of integrated logistic support services and products to systems owners and suppliers of high technology systems and equipment. The division is 51 percent owned by Grintek Limited and 49 percent by Saab AB. Grintek Limited employs some 1400 people, most of whom are engineers and technicians. The group specializes in three main market segments, namely telecommunications and selected niche opportunities within industrial and defense electronics.
