APLAC RF Design Tool Version 8.00 Released

APLAC Solutions Corporation has now launched a fresh release of the high-performance APLAC RF Design Tool. APLAC RF Design software automates expert procedures to combine RF-IC and analog simulation with a broad range of functions for circuit analysis and optimization.

Introducing the latest developments in circuit simulation in response to customer demands, for this release the APLAC development team has focused on simulation speed.

APLAC RF Design Tool version 8.00 presents:

•  New Transient Analysis run simulations up to 40 times faster, with the same trademark accuracy

•  Threaded Harmonic Balance analysis speeds HB simulation significantly on multiprocessor systems

Chief Technology Officer Olli Pekonen emphasizes, "As usual, the new APLAC release includes several fresh, up-to-date features and models for RF-IC and System level design. New and enhanced technologies include enhanced WLAN Library that supports IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b standards, IBIS Modeling capability, and considerably enhanced Transient and HB analyses."

"APLAC has also broadened its programming capabilities by introducing a handy C-language interface. This enables users to load their own device model codes or function codes into the APLAC Simulator, dynamically." notes Product Manager Markus Heikkinen.

APLAC RF Design Tool version 8.00 is available for Windows, Linux and Unix platforms. Licensing options range from stand-alone portable licenses to floating network schemes. Prices are from 8800 EUR. For availability or detailed information, contact sales@aplac.com or browse http://www.aplac.com/
