Immedient Launches Solution For Collaborative Product Development In Manufacturing Organizations
Immedient Corp. announced the launch of a comprehensive Collaborative Product Development (CPD) solution to support rapid product innovation within manufacturing organizations. The Immedient CPD solution improves product portfolio management and facilitates collaboration by using the power of the Microsoft platform to address two key areas in product lifecycle management (PLM) - product design and collaboration, and program and portfolio management.

Launched in conjunction with Microsoft's Program for Collaborative Product Development, Immedient's CPD solution provides a portfolio view of all product development initiatives across the organization and integrates with existing product lifecycle management and product development solutions, resulting in more compelling products brought to market faster and at a lower cost. The solution enhances productivity by enabling access to enterprise resource planning, bill of materials, and computer aided design data from within familiar desktop applications. Project managers can take advantage of best practices with user-friendly content and document management capabilities while standard forms and document templates ensure consistency and accuracy.
