Tata Consultancy Services Launches Performance Engineering Lab Leveraging Mercury Offerings
Tata Consultancy Services and Mercury Interactive Corporation announced the opening of TCS' US-based performance engineering lab at its operations center in Bloomington, Minnesota. The lab will provide customers with advanced services, products, and technologies to effectively manage the performance lifecycle of mission-critical applications.
The lab combines best practices from TCS' global Performance Engineering Services with leading application management and performance testing products. Leveraging products from the Mercury Business Availability CenterT and Mercury Performance CenterT, services from the lab include application performance and end-user management, remote scripting and monitoring, and application performance testing and tuning. Additional value-added services in the capacity planning and design engineering space are planned in the coming quarters.
The performance engineering lab was previewed for customers on October 22 nd , highlighting its value as a one-stop shop for performance engineering services from TCS. The lab will serve the North American geography where TCS generates 60 percent of its global revenue, and draw on best practices both from TCS' Performance Engineering Lab in Mumbai and partner labs around the world.
The lab will have a focus on research and development related to technology and tools performance evaluation and benchmarking, and will serve as a learning and demonstration facility for the TCS teams in its U.S. operations.
