Vantage Software Technologies Announces Three-Year Extension of Contract with Autodesk; Contract Extends Company's Use of AnswerWorks and International CorrectSpell

Vantage Software Technologies announced that Autodesk has extended its contract to employ Vantage's AnswerWorks and International CorrectSpell applications in its products, such as AutoCAD® through 2007.

"Vantage Software Technologies is pleased to renew its contract with Autodesk," says Brian Geiss, Vice President and General Manager of Vantage Software Technologies. "AnswerWorks is a high-quality solution that gives an excellent return on investment and provides customers and employees with an effective and intuitive way to search for answers to their questions about Autodesk products."

AnswerWorks is a cross-lingual question and answering engine with an easy-to-use natural language interface that companies can add to "Help" systems and web-based knowledge repositories. AnswerWorks allows users to get answers to questions phrased in everyday language. The product works in conjunction with Vantage Software Technologies' AnalyticsT application, a reporting tool for businesses that tracks users' entries in search processes and notes weaknesses in the feedback, allowing companies to modify content for future searches.

Currently, AnswerWorks is being used with the support for Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Japanese users. International CorrectSpell identifies mistakes, suggests improvements, and explains errors in a user's writing and is currently being used by Autodesk with support provided in English, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
