Sensis Selects Captiva's FormWare for Customer Contract Input Management

Captiva Software Corporation announced that Sensis , a subsidiary of Telstra Corporation Ltd., Australia's largest telecommunications company, has selected FormWare®, Captiva's award-winning forms processing solution, to process its Yellow Pages(R) customer contracts. The company plans to utilize FormWare in a remote scanning and centralized processing environment, with the first phase of live production to begin January of 2005.

FormWare will replace the manual input and archival method previously utilized by Sensis to process customer contracts. The manual process was slow and could lead to inefficiencies in the retrieval of contract documents, as well as security and integration issues with its customer relationship management (CRM) system. FormWare will serve as the crucial input management point to a comprehensive enterprise content management (ECM) and CRM system provided by Documentum, TIBCO and Siebel Systems.

Sensis considered alternate input management solutions from other vendors on the market, but chose FormWare due to its robust forms processing capabilities and the strong reputation of Captiva in delivering solid returns on the investments at its other Australian customer sites.

"Sensis executives selected FormWare not only because of its capabilities but also Captiva's consultative sales approach and our professional service group's ability to implement the solution according to their requirements," said Peter Murray, Captiva's Vice President of Asia Pacific Operations. "We're pleased to offer Sensis a solution that will allow them easy access to the digital contracts, eliminate manual processes, increase efficiency, improve customer service and reduce costs. The success of this project should see Sensis extending the use of our software to other areas within their business, and having them serve as a valuable reference site for Captiva."
