Agile Optimizes Worldwide Product Design and Manufacturing Processes for Three-Five Systems
Agile Software Corporation announced that Three-Five Systems, Inc., a leader in electronics manufacturing services (EMS), has deployed Agile PLM to optimize product design and manufacturing processes across its worldwide network of electronics manufacturing sites.
Three Five Systems (TFS) chose the Agile PLM platform as the company sought to capitalize on its leadership in visual display solutions and expand into a full-services electronics manufacturer. Agile is currently deployed in seven TFS locations around the globe, from Beijing to Orlando.
"Three-Five Systems looked for a solution that would help reduce the administrative processes and cycle time associated with engineering change orders at our factories," said Carl Derrington, vice president operations and chief manufacturing officer, Three Five Systems. "What we found with Agile PLM was a solution that maps to our fundamental business objectives of increased manufacturing efficiencies and better service to our customers."
TFS credits Agile PLM with enabling the company to reduce engineering change order cycle times by 90 percent. In addition, the design centers at each factory location can more easily communicate change orders with each other, improving response times to individual customer requests.
