Mitsubishi's Implementation of MachineWorks
MachineWorks Ltd., supplier of simulation and verification solutions and Mitsubishi Electric Mechatronics Software Corp. (MSW), supplier of CAD/CAM Systems for EDM (Nagoya, Japan part of the Mitsubishi Electric Group) talk about their implementation of MachineWorks Technology.
MSW has integrated MachineWorks technology providing its customers with exceptionally accurate simulation features such as material removal, clash detection, part comparison analysis, dynamic rotation and zooming. "We are thrilled with the range of functionality that MachineWorks technology provides. In particular, the way MachineWorks simulation and verification can be spread to all the processes we use." comments Mr. Yutaka Tanaka, Head of CAM Center at MSW, "We can now go from wire EDM to milling to electrode as if they all were one process."
