GiveMePower Corporation and Cochran's Inc. Add New Dimension to Monument Design and Manufacturing Industry
GiveMePower Corporation, a provider of next-generation 2 and 3-dimensional computer-aided design (CAD) and graphics development software for Windows® mobile, wireless and desktop computing, announced that Cochran's Inc, a Vermont-based GiveMePower Embedded Solutions partner, has commenced shipping two new software solutions which automate the design, visualization and manufacturing of personalized rock monuments.
Utilizing GiveMePower's PowerCAD EmbeddedT 2 and 3D graphics technologies as the foundation, the two new Cochran's software solutions, Monumental Design StationT 6.0 and Monumental 3D Color StudioT, enable thousands of prospective monument dealers and their clients to create photo-realistic, computer-generated visualizations of monuments to assist in the sale of memorials well in advance of stencil-cutting, eliminating costly mistakes and ensuring complete customer satisfaction from conception to completion of personalized granite and other stone monuments.
"Cochran's is an innovator in the delivery of computerized solutions for the large and growing monument industry," stated Bill Walton, president and CEO of GiveMePower. "Their new solutions demonstrate how being a PowerCAD Embedded Partner can help businesses to become leaders in their respective fields. Cochran's commitment to excellence, combined with our unrivalled CAD/graphics development platform, showcases how our partners are able to deliver best-of-breed solutions in non-traditional CAD markets."
"Our target customers are businesses that supply and sell monuments. This includes those who need to 'show' what the monuments and granite colors will look like when manufactured," said Sherm Cochran, president of Cochran's Inc.
Using Cochran's Monumental Design Station 6.0, memorial designers, while making a point-of-sale presentation, are able to let the customer choose the granite color, the exotic shape and add personal design touches from three large libraries. Designs can then be professionally rendered in 3D using Cochran's Monumental 3D Color Studio, with backgrounds and photo-realistic pictures available for individual customers to "see" how the end product will look prior to the expensive production process.
Resellers can also use Cochran's Monumental Design Station 6.0 to create sandblast-carved designs and lettering. Or, they can simply choose designs from Cochran's Design Series, and use Monumental 3D Color Studio to add the granite color. Monumental Design Station 6.0 and Monumental 3D Color Studio are revolutionizing the monument industry by eliminating guesswork and expensive stone cutting mistakes through computer automation.
"As our business expands, and new employees are added, the services that Cochran's provides to its customers increases the need for novel design technology. GiveMePower's PowerCAD graphics engine streamlines and enhances our monument design and manufacturing business, increasing productivity immensely. The technology behind PowerCAD provides an incomparable solution for our quickly growing business," concluded Cochran.
