Newman/Haas Racing Seeks Edge with Computer Aided Technology and SolidWorks

Newman/Haas Racing announced its partnership with Computer Aided Technology, Inc. (CATI) for the 2005 Bridgestone Presents The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season. After having won five Champ Car championships to date, the team will continue to enlist the support of CATI to help them in their quest for their sixth title in 2005 with drivers Sebastien Bourdais and Bruno Junqueira, who brought the team their best overall finish in their 22nd season with a first and second place rank, respectively.

"The ease of use and the sophistication of CATI's solution was very much part of our Championship winning performance. All the new parts that gave us such an advantage in the 2004 season were designed and developed using the SolidWorks suite of CAD programs," said Brian Lisles, General Manager of Newman/Haas Racing.
