COINS announced support for Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2006, next generation AutoCAD®-based building design and documentation software from Autodesk, Inc.
With Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006, architects can start working immediately with minimal training, and implement Autodesk Architectural Desktop at their own pace with familiar working methods and user interface. COINS Framing leverages core Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006 functionality such as styles, display representations, tool palettes, and intelligent grips; therefore, reducing the learning curve of the solution to maximize productivity and maintain a competitive advantage. COINS has incorporated support for project standards, display themes, and smooth zooming seamlessly into their product.
"By integrating with the latest features in Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006, COINS enables our joint customers to significantly increase their productivity," said Jay Bhatt, vice president of Autodesk's Building Solutions Division. "We are pleased to have the strong support of COINS for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006."
"COINS values its long-term relationship with Autodesk," says Steve Feery, chief executive officer of COINS. "We believe that the combined COINS-Autodesk solution is key to the success of the framing market by driving down design-to-manufacture time."
