MiTek Industries Europe Announces Support for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006
MiTek Industries Europe announced support for Autodesk® Architectural Desktop 2006, next generation AutoCAD®-based building design and documentation software from Autodesk, Inc.
MiTek® WoodEngineT built on Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006 provides the Timber Frame, Carpentry and Log Home manufacturer with a fast method to build a full 3D model of timber structures, from foundations and sole plate right up to the fully engineered roof trusses designed by MiTek 20/20 software. This powerful combination enables design ideas to be realized faster and more cost effectively than ever.
The WoodEngine modules, including Timber Frame, Floor, Carpentry and Log Home, work in combination with Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006 to reduce the turnaround time of timber structures from order to manufacture, enable timber framing of an entire building with one-click and allow the user to design complex timber structures. MiTek is confident the combination of WoodEngine and Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2006 is the most efficient software package available today for the detailing and factory production of timber structures.
