Eight Avatech Solutions Staff Members Achieve Autodesk Inventor Certified Expert Status

Avatech Solutions, Inc. announced that eight of its technical application engineers have successfully passed the rigorous standards established by Autodesk to become official Autodesk Inventor® 9 Certified Experts. Jason Lane, Gray Carlson, Jerry Berns, Scott Hale, Jason White, Rusty Belcher, John Hackney and Carl Smith demonstrated a full breadth of knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software during the thorough, four-hour hands-on and written examination tests. Gray Carlson and Jerry Berns obtained scores of 100%; they are the only two people in the world to achieve this coveted perfect score out of the hundreds that have taken the exam. These certifications underline Avatech's strong expertise in the manufacturing space.

Avatech technical experts passed an exam consisting of 100 questions, covering all aspects of Autodesk Inventor including adaptivity and project management. The exam is aimed at users with typically more than 500 hours of experience with Autodesk Inventor. Those who pass the exam are considered Certified Experts for the current version of Autodesk Inventor. Certification must be renewed with each new software release. A shorter renewal exam focuses on new features and functionality of the latest version of Autodesk Inventor software. Avatech's team join an elite group of Autodesk Inventor Certified Experts worldwide.

Avatech has been designated as an authorized proctoring center for the Autodesk Inventor Certified Expert Program. The course will be offered at any of Avatech's national training centers, or any remote location that could have connection to the Internet.
