GiveMePower to Participate in Intel Corporation's Mobilized Solutions Guide: Small Business Edition

GiveMePower Corporation has been selected on an invitation-only basis to participate in Intel Corporation's roll out of their new Mobilized Solutions Guide: Small Business Edition. Part of Intel's Mobilized Software Initiative, the Mobilized Solutions Guide is the industry's most comprehensive comparative guide for mobile solutions, allowing Intel channel partners and their customers to identify, compare and select mobile solutions that meet their business and technical needs. Other key providers to the Mobilized Software Initiative include IBM, Microsoft and SAP.

"We are honored to be invited by Intel to participate in their new Mobilized Solutions Guide for small business," said Bill Walton, president and CEO of GiveMePower. "As defined under the Mobilized Software Initiative, 'mobilized software' is "mobilized" when it works regardless of where users are, what devices they use, how they may be connected or whether they are connected at all. Our PowerCAD software solutions do just this, giving millions of prospective users true 'anytime, anywhere and anyone' access to billions of AutoCAD-compatible designs, drawings and digital blueprints that are used to construct and manufacture virtually any man-made product or structure."

Showcased alongside Intel in 2004 at two trade conferences, and profiled by Microsoft in a recent enterprise mobility white paper, PowerCAD® mobile, wireless and desktop CAD solutions are gaining popularity as the system of choice for companies looking to increase productivity, improve communications and reduce costs on their projects. Customers range from small and medium size businesses, to major corporate and government enterprises such as AT&T, General Dynamics, Maytag, Penn State University, the United States Postal Service and multiple branches of the U.S. Military.

Through the Mobilized Software Initiative, Intel Corporation and other leading technology companies are working with the leading ISVs to provide a comprehensive set of software tools, services, architecture specifications and training programs to help design better mobile software. The Mobilized Software Initiative includes four capability vectors:

•  Offline data management that enables the application to provide virtually the same user experience regardless of connection status.

•  Intelligent connectivity that detects network changes and adopts appropriately.

•  Multiple platform support that means applications can be deployed across clients and servers natively.

•  Power and performance optimization that enables mobilized applications to conserve battery life and deliver fast computational and I/O performance.

The Mobilized Solutions Guide is available 24 hours a day at http://www.mobilizedsoftware.com . Billed as "The Ultimate Source for Mobile and Wireless Applications", MobilizedSoftware.com is devoted to the practical solutions of building mobilized software and connects the active community of software architects, enterprise IT managers and solutions providers who are creating today's mobile environments. MobilizedSoftware.com is produced by CMP Media and Intel Corporation. IBM, Microsoft, SAP and other leading ISVs are also contributors as part of the Mobilized Software Initiative.
