UGS' Teamcenter and NX Solutions Strengthen Wuxi Blade Works' Leadership Position in the Turbine Blade Industry
UGS announced that Wuxi Blade Works, the leading turbine blade manufacturer in China, has selected UGS' TeamcenterT and NXT software solutions, to support its objective to provide high quality products and reduce time-to-market.
Wuxi Blade Works is implementing NX's high-end 3D design applications, within the managed development environment provided by Teamcenter, to gain a competitive advantage. The implementation of Teamcenter not only streamlines Wuxi Blade Works own engineering processes, but it positions the company to better collaborate with turbine OEMs in China; many of whom have already adopted Teamcenter as their PLM system of choice.
"Wuxi Blade Works has achieved an 80 percent market share in China.
