Agile to Present at Digital Factory
WHO : Thomas Gilgenberg, Sales Director, of Agile Software Corporation will participate in a panel discussion on: "PLM and medium sized companies: Two worlds come together," at this year's Digital Factory Conference.
Other panel participants include:
• Professor Michael Abramovici, Chairman at the Institute of Computer Science, Bochum University, Germany
• Harald Robok, Manager of PLM Central Region (Europe Middle East and Africa), IBM
• Karl Weber, former president of COMPASS systems
• Ulrich Sendler, CAD/CAM Industry Analyst and Manager, CADcircle
TOPIC: The panel will discuss the increasing demands placed on smaller manufacturers to be part of the global outsourced supply chain, which requires them to have a greater sophistication in managing product information. The panel will address how PLM can assist smaller manufacturers in optimizing the product creation process to enable faster product development, shorter time to production, more flexibility and greater efficiency. The panelists will also explore why smaller manufacturers can no longer ignore investment in technologies, such as PLM, that create quantifiable differences.
WHAT : Digital Factory will take place during the Hannover Fair, the world's leading showcase for industrial technology. The Digital Factory Trade Fair, now in its second year, is set to establish itself as the leading international exhibition platform for integrated processes and IT solutions in the process and manufacturing industries.
WHEN/WHERE : The PLM panel presentation will take place on Tuesday, April 12 from 4pm in Hall 17, Booth 22 C. Digital Factory is being held at the Exhibition Grounds, 30521 Hannover, Germany.
Agile Software will be on site for the duration of Digital Factory from Monday April 11 to Friday April 15 at Booth B14 in Hall 15.
