Si2 Announces the Sixth OpenAccess Conference with Speakers and Demonstrations from Leading Semiconductor and EDA Companies

The Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2) announced that its sixth OpenAccess Conference will be held on April 18, 2005, at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, Calif.

The Forum will feature speakers and demonstrations from several of the industry's leading semiconductor and electronic-design automation (EDA) companies, including Atrenta, Blaze DFM, Cadence Design Systems, CiraNova, Gradient Design Systems, MatrixOne, Mentor Graphics, Philips Semiconductor, Silicon Navigator, UCLA, and Verific Design Automation.

The featured keynote speaker is Erach Desai, industry analyst from American Technology Research, who will be addressing the business implications of OpenAccess.

As the new OpenAccess 2.2 release proliferates into the end-user and EDA communities, new applications and capabilities are being released which capitalize on the enhancements and strengths of this new OpenAccess version. The conference will highlight many of these new applications, features and values these new tools offer end-users and developers.

A Partners' Pavilion and reception will be held after the paper sessions, where OpenAccess Coalition member and non-member companies will be demonstrating their products running on OpenAccess.
