Agile and Magna Steyr to Co-Present at ProSTEP Symposium

WHO : Mathias Zagel of Agile Software Corporation and Rudolf Wedenig, of Magna Steyr Graz, will co-present "PLM in the Early Development Phase" at the ProSTEP iViP Symposium 2005.

WHAT : This presentation will cover how a company's ability to innovate is influenced significantly by the early phases of product development. To turn a market or technology driven idea into a successful product, tools are required before CAD modeling is started. Requirements need to be captured, structured and translated into a conceptual product structure. By linking real items and adding configuration rules, this becomes a modular bill of material, which represents a large number of product variants. This presentation will discuss how these steps can be executed with a PLM solution. The ProSTEP Symposium is an annual event held by the ProSTEP organization that provides members with tools for optimizing the implementation of product data and process standards in industry.

WHEN/WHERE : The ProSTEP Symposium is taking place April 20-22, 2005 at the Ludwig Erhard Haus in Berlin, Germany. The Agile/Magna Steyr presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 20 at 3:30pm. Agile Software will be on site for the duration of ProSTEP at Booth 9.
