Informative Graphics Updates Free AutoCAD DWG Viewer
Informative Graphics Corp. (IGC) announced the immediate availability of its updated Free DWG Viewer. The Free DWG Viewer views native DWG, DXF and DWG formats through version 2006, including XREFs, without requiring the AutoCAD application. The software also views IGC's Visual RightsT-protected Content Sealed Format (CSF)
.
The Free DWG Viewer is based on IGC's Brava!® viewer.
"The Free DWG Viewer is a no-hassle download and the best tool out there for viewing DWG and DWF files in a single-user interface. We're delivering thousands of downloads a day," said Gary Heath, president and CEO at IGC. "Our free software is updated on a regular basis and with each update we continue to support significant new features as requested by users."
The latest update includes enhanced zooming, the ability to browse a file folder with next/previous actions, launch AutoCAD, send a file through e-mail and set reference file paths. IGC has also made significant improvements in DWF viewing, including rotate and enhanced (anti-aliased) rendering.
Free DWG Viewer users can upgrade to the Brava Desktop Free DWG Upgrade, which adds print, measure and publish to CSF for a $29 annual subscription fee.
