Sinopec Subsidiaries Adopt AVEVA's VANTAGE Solutions
In a deal valued at over US$1 million, four of the top subsidiaries of the Sinopec Corporation have adopted engineering IT solutions from AVEVA. Sinopec is China's largest producer and marketer of oil products, the country's leading supplier of major petrochemical products and the second largest crude oil producer in China.
The subsidiaries; Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Corporation, Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Corporation. and the Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Corporation have signed contracts for a selection of AVEVA's VANTAGE solutions including engineering design solution (VPE P&ID and VPE Workbench), 2D/3D Comparator, the 'Project Resource Management' (VPRM) procurement solution and AVEVA's flagship: VANTAGE Plant Design Management System (PDMS).
