INCAT, a UGS Sales and Solution Partner, Achieves UGS Authorized Training Provider Status
INCAT announced its status as a UGS Authorized Training Provider (ATP) for NX® software, UGS' digital product development solution. INCAT had already achieved Partner status with competencies in Sales and Solutions under the UGS Partner Program, adding its new Training competency after members of its Education Department staff completed an extensive, four-stage UGS Train-the-Trainer program that both certifies them as instructors, and authorizes them to use UGS course material during training.
"INCAT is the only organization in the US to achieve this status for the NX product suite," said John Haupt, INCAT Education Director. "This is a direct result of our experience delivering industry-leading training to support the UGS portfolio of PLM products. Our instructors combine educational and consultative skills to deliver PLM training that is pragmatic and client-centric. Their support of the student extends beyond the classroom, to at-elbow and shop floor support."
"We are pleased to have INCAT extend their UGS training certification into the NX product area with the 'Practical Applications of NX' course," said Scott Miller, director, UGS Education Services. "Throughout UGS' longstanding relationship with INCAT they have been providing certified training for a series of courses associated with our I-deas® NX Series. It is, therefore, a logical next step for INCAT to expand their training certification further into the NX application area. By moving away from courseware supplied by a third-party and adopting the industry-leading courseware and instructor certification directly from UGS, INCAT is in a stronger position to enhance the value of the NX training they provide for their customers."
Students will benefit from the combination of UGS training materials and curricula that emphasize hands-on training, to maximize understanding and retention; and the INCAT delivery method that places trainers with real-world expertise in the classroom. Enrollment is limited to maximize the effectiveness of training. INCAT also offers customized training at client sites to enhance skills and performance without negatively impacting day-to-day productivity.
