Sierra Atlantic Rolls Out Integration of Agile PLM Solution to Oracle Manufacturing and SAP R/3

Agile Software Corporation announced that one of its systems integration and complementary solutions partners, Sierra Atlantic, has released the latest version of Supply Chain Management Network (SCMnetT), integrating Oracle Applications and SAP R/3 with the latest version of Agile's PLM solution, Agile 9.

"We use Sierra Atlantic's SCMnet to integrate data from our Agile 9 SP4 system to Oracle 11i as part of our standard management process," said Daniel Hartley, business application/system administrator at ADIC, a leading supplier of open systems data storage solutions. "With SCMnet, any changes released by Agile are automatically implemented in our Oracle 11i environment. We've processed over 3,600 changes so far and are very pleased with the results."

A long-standing Agile partner delivering ERP integrations to systems like Oracle Applications and SAP R/3, Sierra Atlantic has enhanced SCMnet to take advantage of enhancements delivered with Agile 9. Agile 9 provides a comprehensive solution to manage and collaborate on information related to the product record including bills of material (BoMs), program and resource plans, product cost, approved manufacturers and engineering change orders (ECOs) across the extended supply chain. Specific features new to SCMnet for Agile 9 include support for Agile multi-sites and integration using Agile ACS. SCMnet for Agile 9 integration continues to support most versions of Oracle Applications (11.0.3 and higher), SAP R/3 (4.0b and higher) and PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne /JD Edwards OneWorld (7.3.3.3/Xe and higher).

"With this integration to Agile 9, we continue to extend our leadership in business process integration solutions among the leading enterprise applications, including Agile, Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP," said Marc Hebert, executive vice president, Sierra Atlantic. "Together with Agile, we offer solutions that enable companies to accelerate time-to-market and reduce costs."

"We value our partnership with Sierra Atlantic because of the reliable integration solutions that Sierra Atlantic continues to develop and bring to our mutual customers. Sierra Atlantic provides world-class service and support, which is an important factor in working together," said Chris Wong, chief product officer and vice president, Agile. "This integration between Agile 9 and Oracle Manufacturing or SAP R/3 enables our customers to get the most out of their critical enterprise business applications."
