CaminoSoft's Data Vaulting Solution for NetWare 6.5 Receives Novell ``YES'' Certification
CaminoSoft Corp. a provider of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions for Novell NetWare & GroupWise and Microsoft Windows 200X environments, announced that its OFFSite ArchiveT for NetWare 6.5 is Novell YES CERTIFIED.
CaminoSoft's OFFSite Archive v3.04 for NetWare provides reliable and economical disaster recovery and data protection for Novell NetWare 4X, 5X, and 6X servers, offering:
• electronic data vaulting for protecting mission-critical network servers and data;
• rapid disaster recovery of enterprise data maintained in a known state at a remote site;
• open file or database vaulting (backups can be done locally or remotely at any time); and,
• usage of industry-standard hardware, software, and flexible communication links.
Neil Murvin, Chief Technology Officer at CaminoSoft, stated, "OFFSite Archive for NetWare is a cost-effective solution for offsite disaster recovery and centralized backup applications. By maintaining replicas of enterprise data in one or more secure remote locations, organizations can be assured that their critical files are continuously protected and available. A single OFFSite Archive data vault server can consolidate, protect, and facilitate backup for multiple NetWare source servers -- without taking production system resources offline or impacting user services. If additional protection is desired, a single source server can be configured to replicate to multiple OFFSite Archive data vault servers."
OFFSite Archive creates "point-in-time" snapshots based on adjustable administrator-defined intervals. Its innovative open file processing technique ensures both file system consistency and data vault authenticity. A broad range of asynchronous communication links is supported, including LAN, WAN, and Internet.
