MatrixOne Introduces PLM Accelerator to Drive New Product Development and Introduction for the Apparel Industry
MatrixOne, Inc ., a provider of collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for the value chainÔ, announced the May availability of the MatrixOne® Accelerator for Apparel Design and DevelopmentT. The latest in a series of industry-specific, rapidly implemented PLM offerings, MatrixOne's new apparel industry solution has been optimized based on MatrixOne's track record of helping product design companies solve the challenges specific to the fashion industry.
The apparel industry is facing a new set of business problems that are forcing companies to focus on improvements in the product development process in order to respond more rapidly to market trends and changing customer needs. These business challenges include increased global competition, the need to target new markets and create new revenue streams, customer demands for more innovative products, and pressures to reduce new product development costs.
