Scandent Arm Inks $1.5mn Deal with Ashok Leyland

MatrixOne India, the subsidiary of Scandent Solutions Corporation , announced that Ashok Leyland Limited , India's leading transport solutions company has chosen its product suite to provide an end-to-end PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solution for the company. The value of the contract for both MatrixOne licenses & Implementation services is $ 1.5 million and the implementation would be done by teams from the Company and Ashok Leyland.

For Ashok Leyland, the PLM implementation will help streamline the hand-offs in its manufacturing processes that pertain to customer, new product and application development, supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing. The solution is intended to significantly reduce its vehicle development time and improve operating margins.
