CIMdata Publishes its Program Review of SofTech ProductCenterT PLM
Consulting and research firm CIMdata published its Program Review of "SofTech ProductCenterT PLM for Mid-sized Manufacturing Enterprises". CIMdata found ProductCenterT PLM to be highly flexible and adaptable while the cost of ownership is lower than might be expected for a PLM system with its capabilities. Ed Miller, President of CIMdata said, "ProductCenter is a strong alternative for mid-sized companies needing PLM functionality."
This report provides a review of SofTech's ProductCenter PLM solution offering, which in intended for mid-sized manufacturers that are considering a PLM deployment or expansion of their existing PLM implementation. The Program Review explains the benefits of PLM, and includes an analysis of the unique characteristics and challenges of mid-sized manufacturing enterprises, as well the results of interviews that CIMdata conducted with a number of SofTech's customers who indicated a high level of satisfaction with the business results they achieved with ProductCenter
CIMdata forecasts the PLM market to continue to grow at a solid pace with the most rapid growth expected among mid-sized manufacturing enterprises.
