DataSolid Chooses Open Solution from UGS' PLM Components to Improve Drawing Generation in CADdy++ Applications
UGS and DataSolid announced the licensing of the D-Cubed Hidden Line Manager (HLM) software component for use in DataSolid's CADdy++ suite of mechanical design applications.
The D-Cubed HLM provides applications with fast, reliable and accurate hidden line view calculations that are compatible with a wide variety of modeling formats. The CADdy++ application family utilizes the HLM to create high quality 2D engineering drawings. As a result CADdy++ users can efficiently communicate their designs throughout the wider enterprise.
"As a long standing customer of the D-Cubed 2D DCM sketching technology we had every confidence that the HLM would provide a cost efficient solution for us and high quality results for our customers," said Heinz-Willi Brendgens, Managing Director of DataSolid GmbH.
